We are the proud parents of Fleet Feet Sports Seattle, in addition to our little ones Jack and Amalia. Read our story about how we met, what inspired us to first run, and how we became the proud parents of our very own running and walking store.
I am a native of the northwest and was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon. I moved to Seattle five years ago to attend college and continue running at the collegiate level. My running career began competing at all-comers meets as a kid, and I have loved the sport ever since. I competitively started running track and cross country in middle school, which continued on through high school and college. Running has become such integral part of my life that I can never see myself losing the passion for it. I plan on competing in marathons and half-marathons in the future. Becoming part of Fleet Feet and working with people that share the same love for running and helping others will be a great experience. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for running with others.
"Once a runner, always a runner!" I've lived in four towns before making the move to Seattle. Born in
Tacoma, raised in Chehalis,Washington. After high school I ran distance for Washington State University. My main focus was steeple chase while I studied kinesiology and psychology. Following graduation I stayed in Pullman helping coach the track and field team in the weight room and out on the track. I'm currently living in Seattle to continue my running career, while gaining more experience as a coach at Seattle University! I'm new to Seattle and excited to be working and learning at Fleet Feet while exploring a new city! Happy running
Howdy! I was born and raised in Eugene, OR, but have been living happily in Seattle for the past seven years. I have been running since I was young
where I developed a passion for the sport with my twin brother, Chris. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to run for the Seattle University XC and Track team from 2008-2012, where I also received my bachelor’s degree in Biology. I have been in love with the sport and the community from the get go, and working at Fleet Feet has been an amazing continuation of that love! In addition to running, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, golfing, and rooting on Seattle sports teams.
I began running by training for a half-marathon for my high school senior project. Little did I
know, this project would turn into a passion for running! I moved to Seattle about 5 years ago from Sacramento, California, and enjoy exploring the many running paths and hiking trails on my weekends. I also work in non-profit communications, and spend my free time baking, reading, and keeping up with my favorite sports teams (go San Francisco Giants!). I'm excited to work at Fleet Feet and share my passion for running with you!
