Seattle: We are challenging you to lose a ton of weight! Literally!

If your New Year’s resolution has to do with living a more active and healthy lifestyle, Fleet Feet Sports can help. This year, all four Fleet Feet stores in the state of Washington are challenging each other to lose a ton of weight. The program, Ton of Fun Weight Loss Challenge, is our way of helping the community become more active and start off the New Year strong.

Ton of Fun Weight Loss Challenge is a 12-week weight loss challenge beginning in Seattle on February 1 and is a competition between the Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma and Bonney Lake areas. The challenge will be to lose a ton of weight; however, whichever store loses the highest percentage of weight at the end of the program will be the winner!

Participants will work on their own to lose the weight, but we will provide them with support along the way. Each week we will provide them with training tips, nutrition resources, suggestions of fun active events in the area to get involved in, weekly weigh-ins, as well as group workout opportunities. Every participant will also be invited to join our closed group on Facebook where fun ideas and group meet-ups can be exchanged. 

Our program is partnering with Nicole Seana, Registered Dietician at Swedish Medical Center and Kyle Davis, Personal Trainer at Spiral of Life. It also gives the opportunity to win prizes along the way as certain weight loss goals are reached.

Our kick-off will take place at our store on Saturday, February 1 from 2 – 5 pm. We are hosting Twitter Chat information sessions on Sunday, January 19 at 9 am and Thursday, January 23 at 7 pm (follow #TonofFunSeattle).
