You can find me working the Rachel's Ginger Beer stand at the University District Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9am-2pm, and at the Capitol Hill (Broadway) Farmers Market
on Sundays from 11am-3pm - right around the corner from Fleet Feet. I wanted to share what's currently fresh at the Farmers Market.
*A delicious variety of Washington-grown apples and pears, including some from this 2013's WA State Organic Farmer of the Year, Tonnemaker.
*The finest cabbages: Purple, Savoy, and Napa
*Foraged mushrooms and locally-cultivated mushrooms
*The tastiest selection of grass-fed, free range beef, pork, lamb and chicken
*Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!
*Local raw milk, mmmmm! And so good for your belly (if you're not lactose-intolerant :) )
*Handmade artisan breads and pastries
*Beautiful handmade soaps, milk-based or vegetable-based
Come visit the store on Sunday,s and then get your shop on at the Broadway Market!
